Microsoft announced that Edge is going to switch to using the Chromium engine in 2019. Edge has come a long way since the days of Internet Explorer 10. The Edge team has been pushing for new features and their upgrade cycle feels like it has improved over the years and it feels like we don't have to wait years for all the new features. I think the switch has caused a lot of reaction throughout the community.   If Microsoft with their open source mindset and not having their team working on everything. Maybe it will be a way to help push the web forward. Also, I think it's important to support Mozilla now. https://donate.mozilla.org I am going to make sure that I give regular support as the web needs them now more than ever.
